Extending across 67 hectares of prime coastal property, it is poised to be a world-class destination through its dynamic interplay of corporate, residential, retail, and recreational pursuits.Currently, MoAC is home to the world’s fourth largest mall, the SM Mall of Asia. Other landmark structures within the Complex are the SMX Convention Center, OneE-comCenter, San Miguel by the Bay, SM Corporate Offices, 1Esplanade, and the Shrine of Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Projects soon to be constructed in the expansive Complex include TwoE-comCenter, ThreeE-comCenter, FourE-comCenter, the Radisson Hotel Manila Bay, Sea Residences, Microtel Inns & Suites, SM Arena Plaza, a ferry terminal and concert grounds. The vibrant work and entertainment lifestyle these offer truly transforms the MoAC into a world class hub for business and entertainment.
Modern Utilities and Services
The Mall of Asia Complex’s power system is supported by an underground distribution network with four Meralco power sub-stations. A subterranean fiber optic loop with redundant features will serve as the backbone for its voice and data telecommunication requirements. Network providers in the area include PLDT, Innove (Globe), and Bayantel.Maynilad Water Service, Inc. supplies the water requirement through a 200-millimeter diameter water reticulation system laid out on the site. As part of the project’s environment-friendly development concept, each building is required to have a sewerage treatment plan for liquid waste disposal. Its carefully planned drainage system, with six strategically located underground box culverts, assures a flood-free development.
The property is traversed by wide, grid-type network of streets and boulevards with easements for sidewalks and landscaping. With 24-hour security checks provided by roving guards and a police precinct located just behind the SM Mall of Asia, the Mall of Asia Complex promises a safe environment for work and leisure.
